  • This degree program is approved by the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
  • Individuals that graduate with a 2.5 major GPA in CHEM courses and complete all ACS requirements are eligible for certification by this the society.
  • Students seeking ACS certification must complete 400 lab hours beyond CHEM 121 (General Chemistry I) and CHEM 124 (General Chemistry II). This includes a minimum of three (3) In Depth courses beyond CHEM 234 (Organic Chemistry I) and CHEM 234 (Organic Chemistry II). 
  •  All CHEM 300:499 required courses required must be completed at in residence at ESU.
