Transfer Credit Evaluation

Accepted applicants receive an initial Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) with their offer of admission. The “TCE” will indicate coursework that is transferable to ESU and will also indicate the transfer equivalent at ESU. Credit not previously evaluated (pending review) will be reviewed by the Student Enrollment Center. The evaluator will review pending credit, determine the transfer equivalent, update the student record and notify the applicant via the U.S. Postal Service. Transferable credits are officially added to a student’s ESU account upon receipt of the official final college transcript.

Please see the Graduation Residency Requirement in the Academic Regulations section of the catalog for information that may affect the maximum transferrable credits and completion of your ESU degree program.
