East Stroudsburg Normal School opened it doors on September 4, 1893. Today, ESU is a comprehensive university in northeastern Pennsylvania offering 58 undergraduate and 22 graduate degrees and is one of the 14 institutions in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.

Upon successful completion, this concentration affords the student the opportunity to pursue a variety of other educational and employment opportunities within and even outside of the traditional Exercise Science curriculum.
Therefore, the Exercise Physiology concentration serves as a preparatory degree for further graduate study by providing the opportunity to complete many of the prerequisites for graduate study.
1 - 6 credits
A minimum grade of a “C” in 400 level major courses and a quality point average of 2.5 overall required for graduation.
Additional requirements for the Accelerated 3-year Track: 1050 or higher SAT; 550 or higher on Math; GPA of 3.0/4.0 scale or higher
