DANC 210 GN:Elementary Ballet

This course includes terminology and technique in elementary ballet including alignment, barre, center work, basic enchainments, and room and body directions, with emphasis on developing the physical and expressive potential of the human body. The class will enable students to understand and synthesize the kinesiological and anatomical, historical and theoretical and aesthetic aspects of dance. General Education Performing Art. May be repeated for credit.
