ENGL 162 GN: Introduction to Literary Analysis and Interpretation

Designed to acquaint the student with the basic skills of literary interpretation, this course includes readings in selected works of literature and examines such topics as explication and analysis of the genres of literature, plot, character, foreshadowing, atmosphere, symbolism, and imagery. The course is offered each semester.
