This course completes the first-year introduction to Portuguese, providing students with the knowledge and skills to function with elementary fluency in the language. Emphasis will be placed on oral proficiency, the structure of the language, and the variety of its cultural contexts throughout the world. Multimedia resources from the Language Learning Center will supplement course materials.
