This course is designed to serve as a field experience for students pursuing certification in school nursing. In addition to validating competencies learned in prerequisite courses, students will have an opportunity to become familiar with the role of the school nurse in various settings and to apply cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills in an actual practice environment.
