This course is an interdisciplinary seminar that explores the phenomena of cultural scapegoating and witchhunting. The primary perspectives will be rhetorical, historical, and psychological. By focusing on various targeted individuals and groups, past and present, the seminar will produce a synthesis based on the instructor’s various disciplines.
