CHEM 352 Physical Biochemistry Laboratory

Experiments to be performed will provide experience with advanced analytical and physical techniques used in the analysis of biomolecules and biochemical processes. Examples of techniques to be used include absorption spectroscopic analysis of structure and kinetics; centrifugation; electrophoresis; blotting; equilibrium dialysis; purification methods and affinity ligand chromatography; and computer assisted data analysis. Independent design of some experiments, critical evaluation, and statistical analysis of data are stressed.
